The Utica Zoo mobile visited third graders at Denti Elementary on September 28th and 30th. Third grade teachers, Dawn Dunn and Jaclyn Mattacola are helping students understand about life cycles and adaptations as part of their science curriculum this fall.
Congratulations to the 2015 RFA Girls Cross Country team who are Tri Valley League champions! The team, coached by Matt Downs, defeated previously undefeated New Hartford Girls Cross Country team to finish the season 8-0.

The New York State Education Department has announced that Lyndon H. Strough Middle School has demonstrated consistent student growth on the New York State ELA and Mathematics Assessments for the school years of 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 and is now considered a “School in Good Standing”. Under the New York State Growth Model Accountability System requirements a district must make two years of consecutive years of progress to meet the eligibility to come off the “Focus School List”.
